Latest T.S.S.A Accredited Programs

We offer three main programs to provide our customers with the latest, up to date, T.S.S.A. accredited Elevator Rescue best practice techniques to safely manage an elevator rescue. Depending on our customers site specific needs we offer a combination of all categories, or if requested a breakdown of individual categories if site conditions do not require all.

  • Traction Elevators

  • Machine Room Less

  • Hydraulic Elevators

  • Firefighters' Emergency Operation (FEO)

TRACTION/MRL ELEVATORS

In the theory portion of our program we provide a detailed breakdown of Traction Elevator components, hazards and the proper procedures for safely taking control of the elevator before any rescue work takes place. We provide in class props for a hands on theory course that prepares all class participants for the site visit. In the second phase of our Traction Course, at the customer’s request, our instructors will provide an onsite customer specific mock elevator rescue. Combined with the theory course is a complete start to finish training course to provide each student with a real life skill set of what it takes to safely manage an elevator rescue.

Firefighters’ Emergency Operation (FEO)

In the Theory portion of our program we provide detailed, up to date Industry Codes in relation to Firemen’s Service, Emergency Recall systems and the latest T.S.S.A. documentation in regards to today’s standards and what’s coming up in the near future. We provide in class props for hands on explanation of recall systems. We explain how these systems work in the real world so the participants know what to expect when we go out for the second phase of on site training to perform an actual Firemen’s recall. On site we walk the class participants through the step by step procedures to not only recall the elevators but how to operate them in a proper fashion and the proper procedures to reset the elevators after the emergency is over.

ELEVATOR DOORS

One of the most important aspects of an elevator emergency rescue is the ability to safely open an elevator door. There are as many different types of elevator doors as there are manufacturers of elevators. Through the vast field experience of our instructors, training your team how to perform this task safely and efficiently is one of our highest priorities.
